At our parish, to participate in ministry that includes vulnerable people, including children, even if they are leaders, there are 4 requirements:

Partnership

Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)

Once every five years

Safe Ministry Training (SMT)

There is a cost for these courses see details on the page below

 5 hours for the Essentials and 3 hours for the refresher that needs to be completed every three years

If you have trouble working out which on is relevant to you ask you ministry leader for help.
